1. Acceptance

By using typelit.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

typelit is a free markdown viewer that runs in your browser. The sharing feature allows you to create temporary, public links to rendered markdown documents.

3. User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you share through typelit. typelit does not review, endorse, or assume liability for user-shared content.

By sharing content, you grant typelit and other users a nonexclusive, worldwide license to view and display such content for the duration of the share link. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload.

4. Public Content

Shared documents are publicly accessible to anyone with the link. You acknowledge that shared content is not private or secure. Do not share confidential, sensitive, or personal information.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not share content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, exploits, or malicious code
• Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Violates the rights of any third party
• Contains personal identifying information of others without consent

6. Content Expiry & Removal

Shared content is automatically deleted after 90 days. typelit reserves the right to remove any shared content at any time without notice. Content reported by multiple users may be automatically removed.

7. DMCA & Copyright

typelit respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content shared on typelit infringes your copyright, please open an issue on our GitHub repository with:

• A description of the copyrighted work
• The URL of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Repeat infringers will have their sharing privileges terminated.

8. No Warranty

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

typelit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or any user-generated content, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
